Durham Public Schools:

Lowe's Grove Middle School (84 students)

Neal Middle School (84 students)

Our program staff are currently gearing up for the start of program by participating in trainings and recruiting for students. The week before the first day of school, we participated in 7 open house events throughout the course of 4 days. We’re excited to meet our students and to expose them to different careers through apprenticeships.

This fall semester, we anticipate having over 80 volunteers teaching 40 apprenticeships. Some exciting topics include:

  • 3D Printing
  • How to Build a Computer
  • Spoken Word
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Web Design
